• Discussing Deforestation with Chris Leslie M.P.

  Today we have had a visit from our local M.P. Chris Leslie. He spent time with our Year 4 classes who have been learning about rain forests and the problems of deforestation, especially due to the palm oil industry. They had written him persuasive letter which they handed over.

   

  Mr. Leslie also met with our school council and visited our youngest children in Foundation.

   

  We're very proud of the children. 

  

• Our Jungle Summer Fair

  Thank you to all who came to our summer fair. It was a fantastic afternoon of fun, games and community spirit. 

   

  We raised a grand total of £1022 which is an amazing amount for 2 hours in an afternoon. The money will help us to put on even more events for families and our local community. 

   

  After checking the weather forecast so many times, Mel was so pleased when the rain held of until 5 o'clock!
