For most of us, technology is essential to our lives, at home and at work. ‘Computational thinking’ underpins modern life and is an essential skill children must be taught if they are to be ready for the workplace and able to participate effectively and confidently in the rapidly developing digital world. Online safety is a priority at Northgate. We make sure that children leave our school with a good understanding of both the benefits and the risks of using the internet. Computing teaching is infused with the ‘5 Rs’ and children are taught to use the internet safely and responsibly. |
