Hello Sandon and Rawson,

I have uploaded the work for next week for if you are not returning to school on Monday, 1st June. If you are learning from home, there will still be someone on Seesaw each day of the week to help you, see your work and answer your questions. Reading Videos will still be uploaded as well. Mr Digges and Mrs Southey will be in school, so you may speak to me a little more, but they are excited to see your work as well. Any questions, ask us on Seesaw.

Cogheart: Chapter 2

Still image for this video

Hi Year 6,

Thank you so much for all the work you have been posting on Seesaw last week. We saw some incredible artwork, great maths, creative ways to mark the 75th Anniversary of VE Day and some interesting 2.6 Challenges.

In a normal world, today would be the first day of your SATs. Obviously you are not able to complete your SATs as normal but we thought we would offer you the chance to complete your 'Silly SATs' - a set of SAT style challenges with a silly twist. Each day there will be a new Silly SAT to have a go at:

Monday: Silly Spellings

Tuesday: Reading (using emojis)

Wednesday: Arithmetic (with a hidden message)

Thursday: Reasoning (very silly questions)

Friday: Crazy Hair Day - send a picture of your craziest hair style to win a prize (and yes the teachers will also take part!) There is a certificate on offer for the pupils who make the most effort with these challenges. Make sure you take a look and get involved!

Stay safe and take care,

Mr Digges, Mr Oliver, Mrs Southey, Mrs Akhtar and Mrs Harrison

Chapter 1 is quite a long chapter but definitely worth listening to. I have split the chapter into two videos so why not grab a drink, a snack and get comfortable.
