We are today launching a consultation period to gather the views of parents, staff and wider stakeholders on the legal separation of Sherwood so that it became an individual academy in its own right.
As you are aware, Sherwood Academy is legally a satellite site of Djanogly Northgate Academy. As part of Djanogly Learning Trust we run Sherwood as a separate academy with its own distinct ethos, its own leadership team, staff and its own identity. However, legally it remains part of Northgate as far as the Department for Education (DfE) and the Local Authority (LA) are concerned.
