Spring 1 - Let's Create Pizza (Frankie and Benny's Trip and Pizza Making)

Beech and Regent had so much fun when they visited Frankie and Benny's to make pizza.  All the children (and staff) had the opportunity to make a dough stick and a pizza.  The chef's cooked our pizzas and then we sat in the restaurant to eat them.  Don't our pizza's look delicious?

Although Ebury Class stayed in school, they didn't miss out on the pizza making and made their own pizza in school.  They added tomato sauce, cheese and a range of ingredients to pitta bread and then took it home to cook and enjoy.

Spring 1 - Let's Create

What an exciting term we're going to have!  Our topic is 'Let's Create', so we're going to be making lots of exciting things.  It will start off on Thursday 12th January when Beech and Regent Class are going to Frankie and Benny's to make a pizza.  Ebury class will also be making their own pizzas in school.

We have Enterprise Day on 7th February, where we will be making lots of things to sell and make money for our class.  Then on 8th February 'Professor Pop Up' will be coming in to the Foundation Unit to make puppets with us all.

We are looking forward to all the fantastic things that you will do from your homework menu.  Don't forget to bring them into school to show us or take a photo and send it to Miss Palmer.

Autumn 2 - Let's Go

We've had another super start to the term.  We are enjoying our topic 'Let's Go' and have been thinking about all the places we would like to go.  We're very excited to go to the @north Pole' with Christmas coming up.

This term has been very busy already.  We have learnt about Bonfire Night and Diwali and had our own 'Bonfire' party outside, where we got to taste lots of delicious Bonfire Night food.

We also visited the Gurdwara where we were made to feel very welcome and found out lots about the Sikh religion.

We had fun celebrating Children in Need.  We all looked 'spotacular'and had lots of fun playing board games and making hats in the hall.

We are still amazed with all your fantastic homework and love seeing all the things you are doing at home.  Keep it up everyone!

We loved Robot Week!  We read Nobot the Robot With No Bottom and made our own robots in our special 'robot factory'.  We even had a visit from the real Bumblebee!  Have a look at our robot display to see if you can spot your robot.
