At Djanogly Northgate Academy, we believe that school is about more than what children learn. It is about who they become, how they see themselves and what they believe is possible for their future.

 

At the heart of our school are three values:

These are more than words. They shape how we learn, how we behave, how we treat one another and how we grow together.

From a child's very first day in EYFS to the moment they leave us at the end of Year 6, we teach, model, notice and celebrate the behaviours that bring these values to life. They create a shared language for our children and colleagues and help make DNA a place where everyone can feel known, valued and inspired to be their best.

Discover

We want our children to be curious about the world and excited by learning. We encourage them to ask questions, explore ideas, think deeply and have the confidence to discover what they are capable of.

Nurture

We believe children flourish when they feel safe, valued and cared for. We nurture kindness, respect and responsibility, teaching our children to care for themselves, for one another and for the community and world they are part of.

Aspire

We want every child to believe in themselves and in what is possible. We encourage them to aim high, embrace challenge, keep going when things are difficult and take pride in becoming the very best version of themselves.

 

Together, Discover, Nurture and Aspire create a culture where children can grow academically, socially and emotionally, developing the knowledge, character and confidence they need for the future.
