Days to remember...

Year 2 have PE on Tuesday afternoons.

Please bring your child dressed in their complete PE kit which includes joggers/leggings/shorts, t-shirt and trainers.

Please make sure that ALL jewellery is removed on PE days.

Reading books and Reading Race Tracks should be in school every day. Can you please encourage your child to read everyday if possible, record this on your child's reading race track - as you know we are running a reading challenge this year so the more your child reads the sooner they will complete a racetrack and win a book.

Please remember, our door is always open if you have any questions about your child's learning and you are free to change the children reading books within the same book band.

YEAR 2 SATS

During the last 2 weeks of May your child will be taking their SATs in English and Maths – these are compulsory for all children in Year 2 and we would request that you avoid taking your child out of school during this time.

To ensure that these are as stress-free as possible for the children the tests will be administered in small groups with an adult that they are familiar with.
